We have an exciting opportunity for a delivery focused professional with expertise as an Agile Coach within a financial services background.

Our client, one of the leading financial services employers in the region at present, are looking for this Scrum certified professional to work with both change teams and business areas across the bank to facilitate a change in how the organisation takes on project work, taking a transition to make this organisation a fully Agile environment.

The successful Agile Coach / Scrum Master:

  • Will be an ambassador of Agile values; a collaborative team player who is courageous and willing to share their opinion amongst the scrum team. They will be committed to cultural values and a more collaborative way of working.
  • Shall coach teams about how to self-organise and drive their own scrum ceremonies.
  • Will encourage teams through project vision, discovery and delivery within this new methodology and will help identify and track antipatterns within the scrum teams.
  • Provide overall agile leadership to the teams and report on progress as required.
  • The successful candidate will be either a Certified Scrum Master or Certified Scrum Professional with at least 5 years' experience.

Business Test Analyst (South West - £250 per day)

ea are looking to resource a number of Business UAT professionals to join one of the region's largest Change programmes.

Each successful Business Test Analyst will join a portfolio looking to migrate a range of key business areas across onto new platforms. Test Analysts will be 80% based on test execution with around 20% of their time around assisting with scripting and producing test cases.

Moreover each Business Test Analyst will be able to demonstrate a broad financial services background; with a range of business area knowledge under their belts.

In addition, Test Analysts will have experience within an Agile project environment - ideally with knowledge around SCRUM.

Business Test Analyst Criteria:

  • Senior Test Analyst or Test Lead level track record - a combination of hands on testing with input over test scripts
  • Financial services background is essential
  • Strong communication skills - spoken and written is essential, in order to liaise with 3rd parties elsewhere in Europe

Business Test Lead Accountabilities:

1) Input over management of Scope, Test Plan, Project Plan, Scripting and End of test Report documents (20%)

2) Hands on Test Execution, UAT (80%)

3) Communicate test progress and produce Daily and Weekly MI

4) Input over estimating and management of budget

Programme Test Manager - Collections & Recoveries (South West)

We are looking to resource a Senior Test Manager to join a Collections & Recoveries programme with a leading financial services organisation in the South West. The successful Test Manager must have demonstrable experience within Collections & Recoveries operations, working around systems such as Debt Manager or similar systems related to the Collections/Recoveries space.

Moreover, the Test Manager must have demonstrable experience of practicing within the SCRUM methodology OR be SCRUM certified.

Position Accountabilities:

  • Clear experience of undertaking business testing - please note this is not a technical role
  • Certified Scrum Master or 3-5 years Scrum experience
  • Clear experience of test planning
  • Demonstrable experience of leading test activities
  • Experience of leading triage activity
  • Demonstrable experience of being able to provide solutions to resolve defects/adopting different approaches
  • A clear understanding of different testing approaches and how to adapt testing activities to the circumstance i.e. in some instances the team may not produce test scripts and the Test Manager needs to be strong enough to maintain stakeholders confidence
  • Leading small testing teams from a UAT perspective
  • ISEB/ISTQB qualifications

Lead Project Manager- Edinburgh

  • Proven track record of working on own initiative.
  • Proven ability to establish strong working relationships with stakeholders and senior management.
  • Well organised and able to prioritise workload in line with tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
  • Financial services experience is essential.

A leading retail bank is currently recruiting for a number of Business Analysts to support the latter phases of a major integration programme. The client is working to a migration date towards the end of the calendar year and as a result is currently recruiting for a number Business Analysts who have extensive experience supporting the implementation phases of major projects within Financial Services.

The work will focus heavily around Operational Readiness and therefore is very much a business focused role that interacts with technical solutions & more technical teams. Any experience around 'don't break the bank' phases such as event planning & working towards developing a Schedule of Events, First Occurrence Validations, Dress Rehearsals, Go/No-Go events and Command & Control events would be highly applicable.Core Skills required:

  • Requirements Elicitation: Leads, designs and facilitates business engagements to establish scope, business needs, project objectives, outcomes and expectations on business processes.
  • Requirements Development: Works with business analysis team to ensure that quality business requirements are produced, accepted and approved by the key stakeholder and business solution designs can deliver effectively.
  • Requirements Management: Oversees end to end traceability against quality business requirements using appropriate tools and templates.
  • Defines the project objectives: scopes overall approach, plans and completes standard Change documentation and tools.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Provides input to the stakeholder management and communication plan
  • Ensure adherences to planning standards and provide support to projects in building their project plans
  • Support project & programme management processes and methodologies to optimise efficiency & meet business goals within agreed timescales & budgets
  • Operational Readiness / Implementation: Evidenced experience supporting the implementation phases of major projects within Financial Services
